The President's Message

By Charles Cantrill

It is almost that time again for the Fly-In and the ball has started to move. Yes, that is right. It is just around the corner. I want to thank Marlene for her courageous effort on taking over as Fly-In director. I know she will do a great job. Just remember she will need a lot of help and she will be looking for some volunteers.

I hear thru the grapevine that Tim has purchased a new airplane, a KR2. Even though it needs a little work, he is diligently working on it and it should be in the air soon.

I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Billy and Linda. They have just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They had a great party to celebrate the occasion and I wish them the best on another 40 years together.

If you missed the last meeting you missed two great adventures stories. Fred Griffith and Dave Lepow told us about their amazing trips last month. Fred flew his Mallard up to his home in New York and Dave flew his Rans S-7 up to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They had a great time and they are looking forward to their next trips.
