The President's Message

What can I say? What a learning experience it has been being the President of The Florida Flying Gators. When I first decided to be President for this past year, I did not believe it was going to be this hard and fun at the same time. I have learned a lot about myself and other club members. I had a great group of board members that helped me through the year, and I thank each and everyone of them, too.

Just a few things before I must go and let the next President continue with his message every month. Just a reminder, your membership dues are going to be due this month. Let’s try and get them in as quickly as possible to help out Krystal. Also, on March 22nd we are going to have our now Annual Spring Social. I hope all of you can come out and enjoy the day with all of us.

I hear a rumor out there that one of our club members has purchased a new airplane, and the little birdie told me that Hugh Johnson has a new RV-6. By the way, Fred says it is a great flying airplane. I hope Hugh will drop in and let us all take a look at his new plane.

In farewell, I hope everyone had a great Christmas with all of your family and friends and I wish everyone a great and safe New Year.
