We have hangers available!

As we start the New Year I am very happy to be able to tell you that Gator Field will be open and operating for at least the next 2 years and possibly longer. The sale of the property fell through and there are no plans to try to put the property back on the market.

On the business side. The election of officers was held at the January 8th meeting.

The existing Board was reelected: Alan Resnick, Pres. & Treasurer [pro tem], Charles Cantrill, VP., Fran Cantrill, Sec., Fred Griffith, Dir. And Charles Almond, Dir.

Membership renewals are due at $ 60.00 for the year.

Hanger rents are currently $ 70.00 a month. For those who want to save some money, using our 11 for 12 DISCOUNT will work. Pay your hanger fee for the year and receive a one month discount.

Activity at the field is picking up with new members and planes in the air.

Light Sport is now in place and all the planes at Gator are in compliance with the new rules.

Our next meeting is March 1, 2008, come on out and see what’s going on.

Remember the front poles on the hangers MUST be working and attached in the down position went you leave the field. These poles hold the roof down in winds.
