The President's Message

By Alan Resnick

We have hangers available!

The Gator Fall Fly-In is this Saturday, November 13th.  Our Leesburg EAA friends will be serving breakfast at 8:30.  The flying events will start at 9:30.  We welcome all pilots to participate in all the events:  The BOMB DROP will be first followed by the SPOT LANDING.

Around 11:30, we will break for lunch and a presentation by Dr. Shawn Thurston of the Bahamian Aviation Authority on flying LSA and EXPERIMENTAL aircraft in the islands.  This will last about 30 minutes.

At 1:00, we will continue the events with the WIFFLE CATCH.  This will be followed by everyone’s favorite the DEAD STICK LANDING.

As is always the case, we need volunteers to help!

The sea plane pilots are having a fly-out to Bowdens Landing on Sunday.
