We have hangers available!

Our November 13^th Fly-In was a great success!  The weather was good and we even had a couple of planes fly up from Bell Glade.  At the lunch break, Dr. Shawn Thurston gave a very informative talk on flying experimental and LSA aircraft in the Bahamas.  We had a good turnout and a lot of fun watching the flying events.  Congratulations to all the pilots who competed and won prizes.  We also made some extra money:  big thanks to our friends at the Leesburg EAA chapter for providing a great pancake breakfast and to ALL our volunteers who make these things happen.

 At the December meeting Steve Wolf, www.wolfpitts.com and www.wingoveraerobatics.com, gave a lively talk about his passion for aviation, his flying experiences and his airplane building.  He was a captivating speaker whom we could have enjoyed for the entire day.  Thanks to John Weber for arranging Steve’s presentation. 

 After Steve’s talk we conducted our general club meeting and discussed finances.  Beginning on January 1, 2011, the hangar fees will increase to $105.00 per month.  The membership fee will remain at $60.00 per year.

 I look forward to another great year at Gator Air Park and look forward to seeing everyone at the next monthly club meeting on Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 AM.
