I'm sure everyone will sympathize with Cindy as mother nature hit her hard. The wind took the top off of her hanger. Her plane suffered no damage, Thank goodness. So here is a warning to all, check what has been up many years looking for rot and weakness in the hangers.

My great friend. Don Wilson, who worked for ten years in Charge of Security at Sun 'n' Fun, was killed in a plane crash on May 5th flying back to Alabama from Tennessee in a Cherokee Six. They crashed into the mountain in bad weather and were not found for four days. He will be sadly missed by all
I flew with Bob in Krystal's Zephyr the other Saturday--a very enjoyable flight. My how much have things grown around the countryside. The spread out from Clermont is fantastic almost like Greater Orlando, I suppose. Makes one wonder where everyone is employed and the wages must be better than they were a few years ago. Either Bob did a fantastic landing or Rex did a wonderful job on the runway, but I’ll take it as a combination of both which was super. Thanks Guys
I am getting ready to go to the Arlington show in Washington State and they have more vendors than ever A very popular show it's always been. They do not gouge the viewing public and it's family orientated, which makes it a pleasant show for me to work. I have been there every year since 1995. We do get some very old Ultralights flying there because they have a great club on site and the interest still remains high. They have warbirds and all the various items a good show has, including the Air Show daily.
It will not be long before Oshkosh and the long awaited Sport Pilot? I wonder! And not holding my breath
The replica Wright Plane on Sunday the 25th of May will fly around the Statue of Liberty. Well, our club had a first to do that with Roland Alexander in his XA. and I have some wonderful pictures of him doing it. "if you can't fly there it ain't worth going," he always said. Roland we miss you!
The Locally built Excalibar at Sebring has had the kit approved by the FAA, it looks like a stretched Challenger. Nice flying airplane
Bob and I went down to Sebring and visited Lockwood and saw the improvements. They have a lot more space and the Engine Repair room will be twice the size. They are very busy. It was nice to see them doing so well
